Problems, Parenting Difficulties, Bereavement, Aging and numerous other
psychiatric and emotional conditions.
- Our emphasis is on the resilience of the human mind, body and spirit. We
focus on wellness and productive human development. We conceptualize
clinical conditions as hurdles that must be overcome in order to live with
purpose. We do not pathologize human eccentricities.
- Comprehensive intake assessments, individualized treatment plans, and the
strategic implementation of empirically validated clinical techniques are
integral during the course of a client's care at Wellspring.
- Client goals frequently include increased self knowledge, the development
of positive interpersonal communication, improved problem solving ability
and the formation of purpose and direction in life.
- Concepts and strategies from a wide range of theoretical perspectives are
used during this learning process. Tenants from Cognitive-Behavioral
Therapy, Social Learning Theory, Strategic and Structural Family Therapy
and numerous Psychodynamic theories are often utilized. The techniques
we engage are contingent upon the goals and expectations of each
particular client.
